When Moses encountered the burning bush, G-d said to him: “Take your shoes off your feet, because the place upon which you stand is holy soil” But Moses had not ascended into another realm or left the earth. This demonstrates that anywhere on earth, no matter where you are, can be a holy and sacred space. It is up to us to take the ‘shoes off’ or rather remove the separation we create between the mundane and spiritual, allowing us to see that anywhere and anyone has the potential to be as powerful and meaningful as the burning bush.
